Have you ever wanted to solve a murder? If so, then A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a perfect book for you!
If you don’t already know ‘A good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ by Holly Jackson is about a girl, Andie Bell, who has been missing for five years, and the killer is presumed to be her then boyfriend Sal. Our main protagonist, Pip, thinks otherwise.
I have never read mystery before this book, so as this is my first time reading this genre, I think I will read more. I really liked this book. The mystery had me at the edge of my bed while reading. The plot twists were really good. (I didn’t see a lot of them coming)
the only thing I have to say that is kind of critical is about the end of the book. The end got a little too wordy for my taste, but other than that it was good. Another thing I did like about it was that there is a lot of text conversation.
I think this book did a good job showing that the culprit’s family also grieves.
I picked up this book up because I thought it looked interesting, but wow, I did not expect this much of a roller-coaster. If you like twists and bendy roads, then this book is perfect for you! I don’t think I can compare it to anything. It’s a good book.
