TBPL Summer Children’s Programs

TD Summer Reading Club 2018 LogoHaving exciting and fun children’s programming is one of my favourite parts of the library. Making sure that everyone has fun can be daunting, but this summer TBPL has an amazing lineup of programs in addition to our regular programs, like drop-in storytimes, Baby Time and Read Sing Play.

If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for the TD Summer Reading Club which starts July 4 at all branches! This reading program is a fun way to help keep kids ages 0-12 reading all summer long. Each week after hearing what your kids have read, we reward them with stickers, and other fun prizes!

We have a couple of our programs running on different dates at different branches so you don’t have to worry about missing out! There is yoga storytime at Mary JL Black July 3 @ 2:30, Brodie July 17 @ 2:30 and Waverley July 27 @ 10:30. There will also be dancing at County Park July 30 @ 10:30, Brodie July 10 @ 2:30, Mary JL Black July 17 @ 2:30, Waverley July 30 @ 10:30, and County Park July 10 @ 2:30. Science North will be running three coding/robotics workshop at each branch: Waverley July 3 starting @ 12, County Park July 5 starting @ 11, Mary JL Black July 6 starting @ 10, and Brodie July 19 starting @ 10:30.
