TBPL Staff Poetry “Gasping Forwords” By Shauna Kosoris

Breathe in.
Alive. Healthy.
Happy. Single.
Meeting. Coffee.
Waiting. Hoping.

Breathe Out.
Disappointment. Toil.
Patience. Together.
Separated. Longing.
Reunited. Routine.

Breathe in.
Busy. Misunderstanding.
Impatience. Aloofness.
Exasperation. Confrontation.
Crying. Heartbreaking.

Breathe out.
Alone. Single.
But alive. And healing.
